Bethel Lutheran Church, in Roseville, CA is seeking a part-time musician to provide leadership for Sunday morning worship services. Roseville is in one of the fastest growing regions in California about 20 minutes north of Sacramento along Interstate 80.
The musician will accompany two worship services, two Sundays per month. The liturgies used on these days are either from a) the 1991 Hymnal Supplement, or b) 'With One Voice.' The standard LBW "green" hymnal is used on the alternating Sundays.
Additionally, we have an active youth and family ministry program desiring stronger music support. This is an opportunity to provide leadership with contemporary music and be creative.
If you have other contemporary experience, please call. Our congregation is open to new things and our youth and family ministry director is excited about the prospect of a greater mix of music styles. While familiarity with the liturgies and music styles mentioned above is preferred, it is not required.
This is an opportunity to use your creative talents. The pastor and youth and family ministry director are both very supportive of creativity and innovation with worship planning.
Although we are seeking a pianist, an accomplished guitarist would be seriously considered.
